Sorry, I should pay a s little as possible. What I meant to ask is what is it worth. If I could get at ~750 would it be a good deal?
That would be a great deal IMO.
yeah, $750 is a good deal. not the kind of deal where you could make much money flipping the bike, but a very good deal if you plan on keeping it for yourself to ride.

Wow... a De Rosa with fenders. I think that is illegal.
A De Rosa complete with mostly ergo era Chorus? I'll buy it for $750.
What is the top tube CTC, just for my information? I get a feeling that might be the tallest De Rosa I can handle the top tube on.

Its a 60cm--- the geo looks like the 60cm mid-80's Allez I had previously.....the top tube is ~58.5 I think..
Is the 8 speed Chorus good enough to keep? I would be keeping the bike and have lots of 10 speed Campy bits that I could cobble together but if the 8 speed is good I would wait
thanks for help

Fantastic deal, 8-speed Chorus would have been second from the top at the time, sharing all the features of Record except it was a little heavier.

Assuming you plan to ride it (as opposed to flipping it), $750 would be an excellent deal. Personally, I think $1,000 would be a really good deal as a rider. Others may disagree, but even $1,250 would be a pretty good deal IMHO.
If the gear range works for you, 8-speed Chorus should work great. If not, sell the Chorus stuff and go 10-speed triple. Somebody will buy the Chorus equpiment on eBay.

I think the market would bear you out in the spring, that's for sure.
It really wouldn't take so much to set this bike up the way I like it.
I love the frame color, but I'd address a few changes in the cockpit.
Doesn't matter much though what I think, as long as the new owner thinks she's a groove, all is good.
Besides, if I was going to buy a De Rosa this size, I would have purchased BBM's beauty he had for sale recently.
Again, if the bike fits, I'd buy her as fast as I could drive to the seller's location.
