Winter certainly has treated me kinder in the PNW than most of the rest of the N. American continent, but it's still winter... and it's still hats and gloves and 5pm sunsets...
So a lil' humor in the hopes of an early Spring:

Pretty funny flick. I love winter, but I still start to yearn for spring sometime in late February. Here in southern Michigan, we almost always have snow in both April and November, so winter is easily more than five months long. Unlike most of the country, we didn't get much snow this year, but it has been colder than usual. The daytime high has been above freezing only a couple times since December 1, and has been below 20F for many many days now.

I was going to vote for Sarah Palin, but after
seeing that I'm switching my vote to Summer.
Oh, and Charlie Sheen for "Vice" President!

I got lucky, yesterday I was up to my boot tops in snow in Arkansas, and today I'm enjoying the sunshine of Phoenix. :)

We're supposed to be up in the 50s in a few days, not quite Phoenix, but It will feel very warm to us after this long cold winter. I love those first warmish days, when everybody is walking around with their jackets open or off, in temps that would have seemed frigid back in October.
Have a nice trip Art! :)
