I used to like Cav in spite of all his personal flaws. I know Ricco is kind of a blight on the sport but to wish this on anyone shows low character on Cav's part. Really low class statement. CAV, you have sunk to an all time low. The reason everyone is so down on Ricco is because he got caught from being stupid and then talks about it. He reminds a large percentage of the peloton just how stupid they are. Hence so many personal attacks on Ricco.

It's hard for me to reconcile his db-agness and his total dominance in sprints. I'll give him a pass on this one. Most of his statement I think echoes what the peloton is thinking but can't say because they never know where their careers will land them.

Cav is the man.

I think that the funniest bit was how out-of-left-field the comment was, "blah, blah, blah, I DO hope he recovers well, but I hope becomes somebodies ***** in prison."

If you think about it this way maybe it would make more sesne. Lets say you are accepted and race in the TdF. You are clean cyclist and do not dope. You do your best but come up short. Then you find out other cyclist are doping and erroded your chances for victory and a whole lot of money and fame. Under this senerio, if it was me, I would have no issue saying "I hope he becomes someone elses ***** in prison" as that person was trying to cheat me out of huge dollars (steal it from me). The UCI needs to decide to get rid of all doping or just accept it so what ever the playing field it is even. I hope they just get rid of it thru tough and plentiful tests and have a NO TOLORANCE policy. They really need to come down hard on this with no backroom deals.

Does Cavendish have nickname other than "Manx Missile"? He's such an outrageous guy -- he deserves a really funny one.
