It's been cold (well for us, at least - low 20s F :innocent:), wet and/or icy for a while and now and I'm going to be out of town virtually all of next week in a training class.
Naturally, here's the extended forecast for my area:

I didn't get to ride at all last weekend, but tomorrow should be good. That will have to be it until next weekend I guess...

Get a folder for your travels :thumb: then you'll be covered in such cases.

Hey awesome! It's going to be in the mid-high 60s tomorrow so I plan on going on a looooong ride into the mountains.
What kind of riding you going to do?

I'm still kinda working up to looooong rides :) but I'd like to crack 20 miles tomorrow if I can. Maybe I need to pump up those tires on my 'comfort' bike until they're not quite so comfortable anymore. :p
Any riding I have time for tomorrow will just be 'around the loop' on some flat roads.

Hopefully will have break in the weather tomorow (Today now) to be able to get in my first sensible ride since Novemebr.
All I want to know is why any good weather we have is from Monday to friday and not at the weekend which is the only time I can ride at this time of year.

Yep, 'cept it's still bigger than a carry-on item size for a regional airliner... :(

We've had great cycling weather here all week. Dry, 50s, no wind. Unfortunately, I've had the flu all week. I hope others have gotten out to enjoy it. Hopefully you'll get even better weather when you get back from your trip Len. Safe journeys.

Looks pretty good for next weekend so far and in fact, today is looking great, if a bit chilly at the moment (28F right now):
(Edit: Well, for some reason my screenshot of a forecast sunny 60F high today won't show up, so you'll just have to read this instead. :p)
My plans are to install my new Road Morph pump this morning and ride this afternoon.
Thanks.

I don't even own a real winter coat. 60's is going to feel hot to you. I hope you get to ride!

I rode! :ride:
I went out with a friend who's a much more experienced cylcist than I and ended up with a typical pace that was about 2-4 MPH faster than I did over the same route last time. Although we rode a tad less distance and averaged about the same speed overall, we did it in with one less stop (I needed the rest, not him!). I was beat at the end, but it was fun. Hopefully we can make this a regular thing, more or less.
