Folding Bikes - Moulton TSR kickstand query

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Approaching two months of blissful TSR-2 (http://www.moultonbicycles.co.uk/models/TSR2.html) ownership, I find myself occasionally in situations where a kickstand would be welcome. Examination of the bike's underbits reveals no mounting plate or dedicated holes in the chain stay. From this am right to conclude that, in addition a kickstand (say, like this (http://www.amazon.com/Pletscher-Zoom-Adjustable-Kickstand-Black/dp/B001GSSP66/ref=sr_1_5?s=cycling&ie=UTF8&qid=1297827350&sr=1-5)), I need to purchase something like this (http://www.thorusa.com/dahon/accessories/pletscher.htm) (fourth item down from the top) to mount it?
Any and all advice much appreciated.

Lexm,
Interesting. I have to say I don't think I have ever seen a TSR with a kick stand.
Are you a member of the Yahoo Moulton forum ?

I am sure you would enjoy reading some of the postings there.

Lexm,
The same question was just asked on the forum link and a few options were posted, but also a warning about damage the tubing so not sure if it would be wise to fit one.
However someone just posted this which is a neat alternative

Theres a tent pole like one , shock corded tubes snap together
and there's a U shaped end to hook onto stuff up top
to fit under your saddle, a frame tube or wherever..

Brother Jerry and Brother Bob have got my back. Thanks, guys!
I am monitoring this thread to see what suggestions are made, but I'm not sure how well a click-stand would work with a Moulton since there is not traditional top tube.
I haven't piped up with the kickstand I have used... it clamps to the left chain stay. OK for propping up an unloaded bike. Works quite OK. On smallwheelers, the outer adjustable portion can be ditched for a more elegant look, just cut it to the right length and put a rubber tip on.

This is an interesting kickstand http://www.ebay.com/itm/DayUan-Bicycle-Black-Pedals-Side-Kick-Stand-2-1-/360386406327?pt=Cycling_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53e8b427b7

I do have a Pletscher Zoom on my TSR 2. Works very well. To prevent damaging the stays, you may want to consider the "deluxe top plate" as seen on Thor's website.

Haven't used a kick stand since 1976, didn't know they still made them.
Hi, I ride a Moulton APB and use a rear mounted Greenfield stand.
Heres a pic from when I first mounted it and before I cut it down by 5cm.
I'm happy with it.
