Any comments on this brand, R40 model? I am new to bents and looking for simplicity, and reliability. Any negatives on under seat steering? MartyD

I had a USS R40 for over six years and worked just fine. From there I upgraded to a R44 above seat stearing and riding that ever since. They are both good formats and there are pro's and con's for each.
They are out of business, by the way.

I have a '99 R-44 that started out with USS. I rode it that way for 4 years and then switched to OSS. I'll probably switch back to USS for a while in a year or so. Kinda makes it seem like getting a new bike. Vision made a good bike (IMHO). The R-40 could be changed from OSS to USS and also from SWB to LWB. Too bad they went under.
