this look like a good deal on a durable and lightweight wheelset.
they are Shimano XT 9 speed hubs laced to MavicŪ XM321 Disc rims. $89 for front and $99 for rear
im about to head over to mtbr to read some reviews, but wanted to see if anyone here had experience with these. thanks. i'd be upgrading from alex rims and joytech hubs (what comes stock on a hardrock these days)

That is a good deal, jump on them.

thanks raiyn, the link you posted has them laced to 317 rims instead of the 321's. any big difference?
They are both in the mavic all mountain group. the 317 are 440grams and you can use rim brakes. The 321 are 570grams and disc only.
hope this helps

Just got a set from performance a few weeks ago. There a really nice set of wheels. I like them alot.
Personally I prefer Sun Rhyno Lites
I've had a set on my trail bike for a couple of years now and haven't even had to true them yet. (A nice trick at my size)

crap, they only have silver.
Form should always follow function. Don't sweat the color.
