hi,
ok, bear with me on this one.a while back i posted a thread to ask if anybody had a chance to check out the new specialized enduros.the reason i asked is that i'm in the market for a new bike.i'm down here in oz,bikes are expensive (esp non major companies) and im caught between a cheaper enduro fsr 2004(assuming xl fits, im just over 6'2"), and holding out for a 2005 "elite" model.yep, the 2005 has the looks, but i guess i should consider performance also...and then theres the "tried and tested" frame etc of the 2004 fsr.i'm leaning towards the new bike, but any opinions are appreciated.
thanks.

The November MBA has a review on the 05 Enduro as well as many other bikes. You need to read it if you haven't already. Their headline for the 2005 Enduro reads... "MORE CROSS. LESS COUNTRY"

I'm 6'2" and the size large enduro is my preferred fit...if you haven't already, you may want to ride one before committing to XL.

The changes to the '05 models are more than aesthetic, I think. More forged parts, lower center of gravity, lower leverage ratio, and improved cable routing, to name a few.

Get the 05 - I doubt you'll regret it.
