Now that I've retired a little early I'm about to renovate that old French racing bike I use to ride 30 years ago. It has hung on the garage wall for 20 years collecting dust.
It's a Motobecane Super Champion, with Stronglite cranks and TA rings, Weinmann center pull, Pivo engraved bars and stem, Huret Challenger gears (front and rear) and Mavic race rims with very early shimano QR hubs. The reason I've joined the forum is because it is one of the few places that the Super Champion has been recognised and not been mixed up with Le Champion which was something else indeed. I will be looking for the Renolds and Motobecane decals if anyone can help me?

Welcome Anglo.
The folks in the Classic & Vintage can help you restore your bike. They love pics. :thumb:
If you're over 50 (retired) stop by the 50+ forum and say hello to the old times. I'm one of them (66 years old).
