I just brought this bike home. Took some quick pics before it started to rain, no clean up.

Full Campagnolo Gran Sport. Cinelli Unicator saddle. 3ttt stem and bars.

Anyone know what kind of tubing? 27.2mm seat post, no rifling in steerer, the remains of a Columbus sticker on down tube near bottom bracket. Campagnolo drop outs with adjusters, no portacatena holes.

Velobase indicates a model year between 80-83 based on the head badge.

Seems to be all original, still has Campagnolo shifter cables (<c> stamped on the nub at the shifter end of cable)

Most likely tretubi SL with Aelle or Falck fork and stays. If fork dropouts are non-Campagnolo, stays may also be SL. May not be 1980-1983 as Portacatena dropouts were typical of this period.

Can't find a SN anywhere.

Has "GS" on the bottom bracket.

Fork tips are also Campagnolo.

It has the long drops, generally before 1977, BUT as this was a price point frame and build, they could always be using up old stock, the shift levers are also of the earlier type before the 80's. Those GS brake barrel adjusters are also from 1977 or so...

I am not ready to claim that is the year however. Note the 70th anniv. graphic, ending in 1979...
