Classic & Vintage - Even a Blind Hog Finds an Acorn Now and Then

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I stumbled across this 'Mystery Box' at one of my lesser-frequented local bike shops where a friend wrenches. I got my first glimpse of it two years ago and I've been pestering the owner of the shop, who is a very busy guy to slow down long enough to look it over and name a price and I finally hit the sweet spot this afternoon. He hauled it out of his office, opened it up on the counter and after two seconds of careful consideration said 'Seventy-Five Bucks.' I won't have a chance to look through it for a few days with a jam-packed weekend ahead but just had to share a few pics.

Lucky. Two of those Campagnolo dust caps will give you your money back.

That is a pretty amazing treasure chest.

Yet another reason to love Lincoln, eh? (I be from Kansas.)
