Needed to take my wife’s van in to be serviced but come home rather than wait. What would be better than using the Tikit?
Of course, I forgot there were some things in the van my wife would need and I hadn’t grabbed any panniers or bags. What to do? Improvise!
Actually, I think it worked pretty well…190515190516
Yeah you can pretty much hang bags any old way on small wheeled bikes. Without those big wheels in the way there's no need for cycling specific solutions.

No no no... he doesn't have pannier, etc. Notice how his tikit and the backpack are color matched?! It can't be simple coincidence :)

Okay, as awesome as the match is, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I did NOT base my Tikit color choices on my 2yo son's Elmo Backpack. My color choices were a slightly more refined taste (http://jdmitchbiketowork.wordpress.com/2010/09/11/update-on-new-bike/)... ;)

With some well-placed klickfix accessories and a bit of ingenuity, 16" wheeled bikes can haul a surprising amount of stuff.
The handlebar clamp on my Curve SL is a good place to hang stuff like a plastic shopping bag, or my son's backpack. On rides I like to carry, in my pocket, a foldable/packable nylon backpack that I can easily unzip and hang from the handlebars should the need arise.
