Hello,

Im in the process of making some hardwood mudguards for a vintage bike. Mananged to to make mudguards ok, I'm having trouble finding some adjustable stays to attach them to the bike. If you look on this site (http://www.treehugger.com/files/2009/10/organic-bikes-re-think-your-ride-consider-bamboo-bicycle.php) you will see the kind I'm after.

Anyone know whereabouts I can purchase these from?

For some DIY wooden fenders, I used brass rod for stays, brass stock for brackets on the fenders, and R-clips to attach the stays to the dropout eyelets:
