Hey i've been researching various bikes and reading the bored and annoying people with stupid question, and i've finaly bought a bike after about oh 8 months of trying to figure out what kind and what i'd like to do and such. I went to a few shops and test road some... being new to the road bike they all just felt a little weird so i did my best to try and get fited right and all, but i may later find out i didn't do such a great job. Anywho i ended up with a fuji ace... I know its not the best but car audio takes up most my cash so anyways. Any riding tips, or tips in general or links to sites with good info for a newbie or anything would greatly appreciated. Thanks

Fuji's ROCK, Dude! Even though I have moved on to a nicer bike, I couldn't bear to part with my trusty Fuji.
First thing is to get some padded shorts, they will really help to keep you comfortable. If you have comfort troubles, you might also want to try different saddles. Minor fitting problems can be overcome by adjusting the saddle posiiton and the stem.
Don't know what kind of riding you are planning on doing, but I guess one thing I can say is to learn to use your gears. Keep your cadence up. A resource I always enjoyed was Harris Cycles (http://sheldonbrown.com/beginners/index.html)
Welcome to the world of the roadie, enjoy!

thanks man.. yeah i did a search and saw you say some good things about fuji bikes... a big reason why i looked into them, that and it was cheap. I t was almost dark when i got home tonight, so i didn't really get to check it out for long, but the seat did feel uncomfortable... and i noticed the peddles are pretty low to the ground, they'd hit on turns if i leaned the bike... i guess thats not how you do a road bike. I think i'll enjoy it i use to bike for ever and ever when i was a kid... but back then i had a.. i think it was a 12 speed kent.. one of those department store bikes.. i still have it actually, its pretty sad lookin these days though. Ok enough rambling for me now. thanks again.
