I'm looking to get one for the girlfriend. I'd prefer something that is lady specific, but a white Turbo just looks so damn good. Can any ladies here attest to using one? Is it comfy?

Thanks

It'll probably be too hard on the lady parts...

Do it. If she doesn't like it then you take it

I've seen plenty of girls use them

I use one too

My lady has a Turbo on one of her bikes and likes it quite a bit now that it's dialed in.

Don't mean to hijack, but are any of you guys using the Turbo reissue? Or are all of you vintage Turbo users? How do they compare?

I used a white Turbo reissue. its a bit hard and a bit higher profile (i had to lower the seat tube). Looks cool, but I am using a Fizik Aliante now, more padding for everyday commuting use w. jeans/shorts...

EDIT: Oh. and it is really slick.. was sliding around a lot w. certain pants..

I figured you would repost the youtube hot potato vid, you didn't

Actually it does look like a potato. Looks like it was wrapped in brown paper bag too. With use it'll age well

I love the extra touch of the turbo tag
Classy!

P.S. potato did not cross my mind when I saw it... evilcryalotmore is still recovering from his concussion.

i had a white turbo reissue on a windsor hour and as much as I wanted to love it, it was the absolute most uncomfortable saddle i've ever sat in. It was really hard and my sit bones hated it no matter how much adjusting I did.

I don't think it was entirely the saddle's fault, though. I think if the seattube angle was maybe 1 degree more lax or if I had a setback post, i might have found a more comfortable sitting position. But the 54cm Hour's seattube angle is already pretty lax at 73, so IDK.

eh everyone has a different ass. I personally can't stand the B17, what a horrific saddle.

I thought the turbo was decent. put one on my gf's bike, but she doesn't ride enough to really warrant a good opinion on it. she says it hurts, but all bike saddles hurt to an extent.
