My name is Ken. I started biking when i was 5. Anyways, I am now 37 and have been biking for the last couple years again with my wife and two kids. I started on a redline d440 which is a ridgid 29er made of steel and a wonderfull bike. seriously, it is a lot of bike for the money at $450. I spent almost that on my Soma double cross frame set which is my current bike. I spent last winter selecting parts to build the ultimate all around bike. So as it is currently built it is a 60cm frame with a specialized 75mm stem with adjustable rise using their spacer thing. Salsa wood chipper bars. Ultegra brifters(with the hidden cables). An xt trekking crank 48/36/26 with 180mm arms. Last years newest ultegra cassette 11-32. xt rear derail, tiagra front. Avid BB7s. xt hubs laced to Stan's Arch rims. Running Michelin jets with no tubes. The wife and I are planning on doing some credit card touring this year and I am currently looking for a trailer and a bike for her. Thinking the new salsa vaya for her and either a BOB or something similar.
