I am using a 10speed campy centaur rear derailleur. I tried tuning my the rear derailleur B screw. When i tighten the b screw, the upper jockey wheel is near to the largest rear cog but not rubbing which I read is the correct way. However when compared to when i loosen the b screw, the upper jockey wheel is much further away from the largest rear cog, the pedalling feels abit more rougher but have a more solid feel.
Summary
B screw loosen - very smooth crank movement - upper jockey wheel further from largest rear cog
B screw tighten - not as smooth crank movement but more solid, change gear faster - upper jockey wheel near but not rubbing largest rear cog
Which should be the correct way?
