Foo - This guy really hates that car...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Looks like that took place in St. Louis. At the last second, you can see the arch in the background.
Other than that, I really don't know what to say. I hope that guy is in jail by now.

I would've run him over.

Definately grounds to run a guy over.
I bet he smokes the crack. Or does the angel dust.

Does anybody know what he was saying? I couldn't understand a single thing other than the occasional "mother farker" and "car" and few other random words.
Maybe he's that bikeforums member that was nearly run off the road by a car...

rofl, what an idiot.
I probably would have gotten out... or maybe just ran him over. Not to kill him, mind, he still would need to come up with the money for fixing the car.

I would have simply shot him without hesitation, once he tried to him my driver's side window I would have gone bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, click, click. Then we'd see how well he's holding it down. Just some more useful fertilizer.

I always wonder what i would do in a situation like this. Granted it is always a suprise and one is unprepared. Easy for us all to watch the video and second guess. However....
He is a crackhead with a crowbar. Victim has a car (sort of) for a weapon. In the game of paper/rock/crowbar/car, i think car wins.
BTW, i agreed with everything he said up until he grabbed the crowbar. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I'd rather have a .357 revolver in that sort of situation. Bigger holes.

Or frangible bullets!
Or frangible bullets!
Score an X at the tip of the bullet so it frags on impact?
No, frangible bullets can be of either a compressed metal powder design or a small diameter 'dust' in a matrix suspension. Most frangible ammo is also lead free. The advantages of frangible ammo, outside of the obvious environmental benefit, is richochet is reduced or eliminated, there is no over penetration, and maximum shock energy is transfered to the target. The downside is effective range is decreased by 40-60%. Not a sniper bullet.
The way these bullets work is by completely fragmenting (into a very fine powder) when they impact. The damage cavity is roughly 3 times that of a conventional hollow point or soft nose lead core bullet. They are ideal for use in densly populated urban areas, for arming air marshalls or nuclear security... anywhere overpenetration would be undesireable. Very cool stuff indeed!

Glock 22 all the way. a .357 revolver would work if you hit him but relying upon 6 shots while he's running around and you're sitting in a car...I'll take my glock. As far as hesitation, I've had someone try to approach me before and without hesitation a round was chambered.

Oh you mean like a hollowpoint. You can also fill the thing with mercury and that'll atomize on impact and punch a pretty big hole too, not to mention the poison. I was thinking more of if you symmetrically disrupt the geometry of the bullet, then it'll shatter and rip though someone on impact.
I'm just wondering, realistically, what would you guys have done and what would've been the best course of action had you been in the car?

I used to and will again oct. 25th and forward carry a 9mm compact between my driver's chair and the console. I keep it loaded with a full magazine in it, none chambered, with the safety off. In this specific case I most likely would have waited til he was away from my door and gotten out. Too much risk trying to shoot out my window hitting another vehicle. If he came back at me after exiting my vehicle I would have unloaded without hesistation. I have been approached before with someone threatening to basically beat me til I couldn't breathe and as i said before I chambered one....I am a firm believer in guns and their use in defending yourself.

No... a hollowpoint is a hollowpoint is a hollowpoint, Frangible is completely different. A hollowpoint will mushroom with minimal fragmentation. Frangible turns to 'dust'. Imaging if you will, getting shot with a piece of chalk. The chalk bullet will penetrate but since there is minimal cohesiveness to the chalk it will come apart quickly as inertia ceases and the expended energy creates a large shock cavity.
If you're still having trouble, try a Google.

Heh Ever since the UK set in the 2nd wave of removing guns EVERY SINGLE violent crime has gone up....now there is alot of speculation that their reports are inaccurate due to many not being reported since they are minor...i.e. someone steals your wallet yo had 20 bucks in.

The Brits beat the **** out of each other much more than their North American counterparts. Murders are down, though, as are all gun crimes, since guns went away. What is it, something like 15,000 Americans that die by guns each year? How many Brits die from them now? ;)
The guy was talking about how he'd been on that corner selling crack to anyone, he didn't care who, even his own hoes, for 10 years, and that he didn't give a **** about anyone, no one was gonna take his corner away from him, he was the top mother****er on that corner. Then he announces his intent to show what he means on that car.
Strange that I understood most of it.

putting him in jail is too light...he did that just for bragging rights...run his arse over a few times, then let the disgruntled car owner do whatever tehy want to him...if that is nothing, so be it...if that is put a pile of elephant poo on his chest and set it ablaze, even better.

I am fluent in ebonics, sir. That was the midwestern no-sleep for 3 days crackhead dialect, denoted by the repetition of sentences including "Eyahhayauw!"
