i have a free agent air strike and want to get a better bike. i was looking at buying a dk dayton or getting a 3 peice crank new sprocket and lighter wheels. i want a light bike so should i get the dayton or make my bike better.(how heavy are daytons?)

If you're looking into high end, I wouldnt get a DK.. thats just me.

my friend has a dayton its a nice bike
he rides trails really hard and its holding up for him
me personally i alwayz keep fixing my bike because once i get my frame i just dont give it up till it breaks

i don't know much about free agents, but I'd say just get better parts if the frame is good.

A custom bike is more ideal. I'd take that $400+ and upgrade your bike unless your ready for a new frame, then go for it as long as you really dig the frame that comes with that complete you choose. Because as soon as you start riding that bike you'll be noticing things you want to mod, and mod it you will. If you start with what you have and pick your prefered parts, once your ready for a new frame you have your dream bike of the moment.

Of course we're never satisfied were human.
