Anybody have experience with 1 1/8" to 1" threaded stem adapters.
I am looking at Nashbar's, Profile Design, performance,
They are all about the same price. Any other brands?
I want something decent as I would like to be able to steer my bike....which becomes impossible if I am holding the bars and stem above my head..after a stem snap.

Why would you think it would snap? If it did you (or your survivors) would have a nice suit...

mmmmmm....I love litigiousness
I am not sure. I have just heard of people talking about "catastrophic" (one guy with road rash and some busted bones is not exactly a catastrophy, but I digress) failures of stems. I have never personally known or experienced said issue.
Its more about not getting some squeeky, rusty , annoying product.
