Foo - How to clean thousands of small glass shards?

I know I should have turned off the ceiling fan BEFORE moving the fluorescent tubes around. Anyway... thousands of really small glass shards all over the place. I'm on the 3rd sweeping now and is like they are multiplying.

sweeping is pretty ineffective for tiny shards of glass. It simply redistributes them over what is becoming a larger area.

Use a vacuum.

Also you might find using yourself as a lint roller quite helpful too. :D

Coat yourself in peanut butter, roll around to collect the thousands of tiny shards, let the dog lick them off and poop them out, dispose of poo, and PBR yourself ASAP.

Too bad there wasn't anybody around with a camera ready right @ 0.1 seconds into the incident. I'm sure my face expression must have been epic...

put really expensive tires on your bike and roll it around the area. that is sure to attract any stray shards.

Hard floors, no carpet. I mopped to get the dust out... now I'm dusting, well, more like cleaning everything up with wet napkins. And I mean EVERYTHING! this dust got everywhere, living rrom, kitchen, den, rooms, everywhere...

The glass was taken care of by the vacuum, it just released this dark dust all over. Wet napkins worked for the fine dark dust. It took some time, but I got it done. Mop for the floors.
