That said, once that's all cleared up, I'd gladly lay down the £14 for a serving. Big deal. Cuisine is full of things that are "grosser" on a fairly objective scale, and some things that are actually poisonous.

Really? Have you ever tasted it?

I try most anything, but not this.

Nope. That's why I'd lay down the £14. So I can say I have.

I guess when you think about the all the other stuff people eat or drink, it doesn't seem 'that' odd. It just seems strange because it's from a human being.

But see, with cows you do have an idea of what they were fed... A woman that sells her own milk for a living... I don't wanna know.

Well it can be tested just like milk from cows. They do have that service, they are called wet nurses and women that can't produce milk of their own pay for milk from other women that has been tested.

I would prefer seal milk, ~40-50% fat, now we're talking some dessert potential.

Was thinking that for what they were asking the serving size should have been at least a C cup's worth.

So just what is it like inside the ice cream factory? Did they adapt dairy equipment to humans? The more questions you ask, the ickier it gets.:roflmao:

And really...you have to market this stuff to it's demographic so adverts and branding are all important.

I have that cookbook. I appreciated the back story on how the ingredient can be obtained. My initial thought was that we were going to have to steal it but it turns out, with the help of a cattle prod, the ingredient is easy to get and very inexpensive. As it's high in protein and carbs, it makes for a great after-ride meal or snack. I usually have some with a beer or two. The best part about it is that it can be taken with you on a ride. I like to throw in some fruit and a little sugar and it goes down easy!

I'm glad someone has finally had the balls to write a cookbook about this very special ingredient.

It's probably the only milk that humans should drink. And you don't need any as an adult...
