I've heard many good things about the Odyssey Hazard Lite rims, they're 50 bucks.

I run (2) 48 Oddyssey Hazzards with rear cassette and I'm 290 and 6'6''. Never had a problem.

Hazard Lites - Duralectric - Super 7X

There are several brands out there. You really want a blend of strength & weight together. If you want the STRONGEST rims, then they are going to be tanks... So somewhere in the middle is good to go.

Oh: And no part holds up to abuse forever. If you are harsh on your rims, you may need to replace them every 6 months - or once a year. Some riders replace their wheels almost monthly because they are so hard on them. Like any sport out there, the harder you are on your equipment, the faster it wears out and needs to be replaced.
