...he is such a complete wanker.

There - I feel better already.

Dumb edict is issued. I sought clarification on the detail (it's not practical, or at the very least poorly defined) so that I could know when I should be doing this new thing.

Get earful of angry noise that pretty much amounted to "I don't care, just do it".

Do what? When? Who decides if it is relevant? That's why I asked a question.

I think I'm going to ignore it and wait for him to leave in June to his new job in another country.

No, I won't be going to his farewell party.

Wanker.

At least you let him drive your bus before he leaves. Sweet of you.

My last boss was a real tool. We called his office the tool shed. He announced his last day and everyone was quietly happy to see him go. So his final day comes, he says a low key goodbye and we all feel good. The next day he comes into the office. Wtf? I about pooped in my pants. He didn't tell the staff he was changed to a contract position until they filled his job. I think he just wanted to see if anyone would tell him off. What a jerk.
