113 miles, 14k of climbing. Old San Marcos/Painted Cave, Camino Cielo (both ways), Gibraltar, Stagecoach, Refugio (with umd). Beautiful weather. Great day!

Refugio is TOUGH. I did it with 9800' of climbing in the legs, but this is one tough ride. Average gradient is meaningless given the multiple high teens percentage ramps and terrible pavement. Wow though, it is a freaking beautiful ride. Might be my new favorite in SoCal.

You are a machine! May I ask how long you've been riding and how many miles you do a month? I'd love to complete a ride this challenging some day.

I've been riding for about 3 years and I average 600-700 miles and 50-60k ft of climbing per month.

awesome, I bet Refiguio is hard no matter when you do it but at least you have a slight tail wind?
