i have a very cheap next flatspin bike. people say it isn't worth getting new parts for it but o well. what should i replace first? the pedals suck. they are made out of plastic. or should i replace the rims. the rims are an alloy.

is there something more important i should replace?

It's a Next probably bought at Target, K-mart or Walmart. Bottom line - your bike sucks it isn't worth putting a dime into. Keep it for riding to school so when you do get a decent bike the good bike won't get wrecked / stolen at school.
