Hi to all fellow pedallers out there. I'm part of a team that is organising a ride for two ageing (65 yr old) riders, both highly experienced and competent!
We're a small UK bike club (see www.leveloclub.com) who ride mostly for fun. Patrick and Peter are planning to ride from LA to Boston (we think) in April/May next year. They will have a support crew in an RV to keep them going.
I think we need lots of advice from riders in the US who have done this ride or can even offer their views on the issues that we cannot possibly have imagined at this stage.
Examples of the things we are thinking of:-
Route
Weather
Wind direction (General - not trying to forecast 14 months ahead)
Which will be the toughest bits
Feel free to offer any views, I'd really appreciate your involvement
