I have to go up to Davenport, FL, outside of Orlando, to pick up my niece. She's on spring break from UND in Fargo. I'm sure she thinks she's in heaven right now.

I decided rather than do a 7 hour up and back I would drive up Tuesday night, stay over at a friends in Clermont, do a 2 hour "tour" of the hills, (hills are a rare treat here in FLA) and then pick her up at about 10:30.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I want to keep it at about 35 mi so I'll be done in time to shower and still be down in Davenport at 10:30 or so.

Sounds like fun Bob. One of these daze, weeks, months, years, I'll be able to say "Hey, you need somebody to ride shotgun with you?" and really be able to join the trip.

Looking forward to it. Riding Clermont is not like riding here. Not at all. They have real hills. Not like the NE, or the rockies, but more character than so fla.
