Southeast - Cape Canaveral FL - looking for good LBS (that carries used bikes)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm going to be spending some time in Cape Canaveral area - looking to pickup a few bikes to ride around. Can anyone recommend a good bike shop nearby that carries recycled quality bikes?
Basically looking for some cheap, good quality bikes but don't want to buy anything new or any low-quality Wal-Mart equipment. Also, recommend a place that has good grouper? ;)

I think your best bet would be Craigs List. IMO it would be the cheapest way to go.
That would be for the bike. I don't think you will find any grouper listed

Yeah, I've looked on CL .. there's some stuff down in Melbourne, but slim picks on the Canaveral, Merritt Isle, or Cocoa area. I'm going to buy at 4-5 bikes so don't want to be bouncing all over the east coast looking for stuff.
CL is notorious for sellers being misleading on ads (and not always with bad intention, for instance, I always see mountain bikes listed as "size 26"). In other words, I don't want to waste a lot of time.
I was hoping to find a LBS, or any store, that would have a selection of recycled bikes.
Might have to buy new, I suppose?
I lived in Cocoa/Titusville until about 5 years ago ...
There are plenty of places to get good seafood but some aren't the most obvious. One that comes to mind is Rusty's

If you don't mind going to the south end of the county there's Conchy Joe's, it's kind of touristy, but they always had good food when I went there...

On the bicycle front, I think you're better off looking inland (think Orlando). I don't remember any bike shops that even had used bikes, that and what passes for a 'bike' in Brevard county is mostly a beach cruiser... One of the biggest shops in Orlando is Orange Cycles http://orangecycleorlando.com/ . They used to be the real deal back in the day but they've gone corporate as of late and they're a Specialized shop so that may not be any help. Orlando is about 45 min to an hour or better from Brevard Co. depending on how far west you're going and traffic...
