Hey folks, I've been looking high and low to find a Guinness cycling jersey online, craiglist, ebay, guinness's online store, but to no avail. Does such a beast exist? I know if I buy this for my buddy it will be just the thing to inspire him to start riding!

Could contact the brewer to see if such a beast exists..

I think there was a thread earlier on this, it would be pretty awsome wouldn't it! Or a Heinekin or Budweiser.

I'd buy a Guiness shirt, man. I love that stuff. And it's god for you.

Would it surprise any of you if I said that I had a Jameson tshirt? It's even all classy and stuff, has the logo embroidered, not printed.

I wonder if you could just have one custom made? I remember seeing somewhere there's a company that will make custom team jerseys, you should be able to find a screen printing shop that would take a design and put it on there for you. A lot of the older Guiness advertisements are probably in the public domain.

Sign me up for the Guinness one. A Jameson jersey would be cool too.

A Theakston's Ole Peculiar shirt would be nice. If you're going to wear a beer company shirt, might as well make it good beer :D

Anything is better than Boddies - made with water fresh from the Manchester Ship Canal :)

PaulBravey - you're so right!! I work in Manchester and I won't touch the tapwater - it tastes like pond water mixed with used bath water blended with just a hint of old dishwashing water :D.

O, and you're right about Boddingtons, it's tasteless chemical cr*p! Some good English bitters? Theakstons, Jennings, Bass, Timothy Taylor and a thousand others!

The water in Stafford was the same. The two most common british beers that I can get over here are Bass (which I'll drink) and Newkie Brown (which the wife, a Mackem, would shoot me for). I found Ole Peculiar once but not managed to find it again since :(

Actually, I rode the Ride for the roses in Austin a couple of weeks ago and Guiness was one of the post ride sponsers. There was either a guiness cycling team, a group of guiness employees, or other, but they rode the ride then handed out beers wearing their sweet-ass guiness cycling jersey. So yes, they exist. I've seen them in person.

Hmm, I wouldnt mind having a Reaper Ale's shirt....if you ever are lucky enough to find their "mortality stout" at the store, GET IT! It's about as good as stout can get IMO.

Part of the reason I am so angry at having to move out of this state soon....freaking guys here wanting me to move to florida....GRR....FEDEX ME BEER %*$&#IT!!!!!!

Mmmm! I discovered this in Korea. I think it's my second favorite, after Guiness. Definitely has some character, and a cool name, too.

Newkie Brown is Newcastle Brown? I like that.

Ever have that Belgian beer that's dark but on the sweet side - Le Fey or something like that?

PaulBravey

Yep, Newkie Brown is one of the colloquial names for Newcastle Brown. There's a 1001 Belgian beers so I've not sampled them all, though not for the want of trying :). One google search later, Le Fey sounds like it could be Leffe Brune, which I've not had.

Yeah that's it! Leffe. An interesting beer.

Wouldn't mind a Harp shirt myself. Maybe not the best beer but the design shou;d be pretty sweet.

Oops. Looks like the Ride for the Roses orders put us over the edge. I'll e-mail our web guy and see when we'll be taking more orders. I never realized how popular these jerseys would be, I guess Guinness is the number one beverage producer in the world for a reason.

Yeah, I'm always tempted by the Nashbar catalog to buy an ABA jersey, but I'm never sure I can convince my wife to let me. I used to buy ABA by the case, but I'm not sure she'd let me do that either. I'd pay some of my hard-earned $ for a Guinness Jersey, fo' sho'. Not even the missus could stop me from that. It's my favorite beer.

Nashbar has a really nice looking Full Sail jersey in the new catalog. It might be going on my Christmas wish list...

What I really want is a Jameson jersey, but I don't know if those exist...

I'd love a Guiness Jersey as well.I 'll be checking out Bustas site ASAP. I've collected quite a few Beer jerseys over the years I have a DeKoninck and 2 different Duvel jerseys from various Belgian trips, also a Heineken,Highland Brewing,Arrogant Bastard and a Fullers London Pride.
IMO they're way cooler than any pro team kits.
