I got invited to drive an LFA on Infineon speedway!!!
Not sure when it's going to happen but I'm on the second list!! http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o286/Flycrow/97708cb6.gif A small group of my friends on the first list got to play with Scott Pruett (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Pruett) and a couple of LFAs. :D
Scott drove the gray one, guests drove the yellow one.

My guy friend (who helps me with my IS mods) driving the LFA. Not allowed to go past the blue Lexy, Scott is in that car leading. Love the way the paddle shifts.

I've done it before without in the Camaro with SCCA and with the RZ. They always do an inspection prior.

That's awesome!!! I got to go in a ZR-1 Corvette last year on the Pocono Speedway about 170mph. Rocks!!!
Have fun and take super lots of pics!
What does the LF in LFA stand for? The A is obviously for Arse.

Never before have I been accused of being too subtle. Oh my.
If it's any consolation - I got it.

Make sure you put a Yakima or Thule on it and bring your bikes along. It will be the special LFA Moots edition.

Oh I got it too. I'm just concerned about the insurance waiver. I can cover $375k for the car but not a body. Never enough on a body.

I can't believe I didn't see this. The L stands for Lexus. The F is representative of the first turn in Fuji Speedway in Japan. The design of the F logo (F sport) is shaped like the turn on the speedway. The A is A - Concept, which blossomed from the original design coming from the Lexus ISF, which is one step up from the car I currently have. My next car will be the ISF hopefully in 2014 after the redesign has taken place.

Too many nanny computers for my taste. A track car shouldn't have a computer for anything except the timing and fuel system, and those are optional.

There are two of them parked at The Driveway, where we have our weekly crit here in Austin. I can't stand seeing them while I ride a vehicle that's never been over 40mph there.

So, Lexus fanboys... is the HS250H a Prius for people too rich for a Prius? A Prius for people who want to feel even better about themselves? I saw one today and I am curious.

HS250h is not on the same chassis as a Prius. It also has a larger motor and more toys. Just another choice, several of my fellow co workers drive them and like them a lot. I am thinking of a ct200h myself, much closer to a prius really but a lot better looking.

 Mmmm, the Avensis. We were in Norway a few years ago and one of Mrs. A's relatives had an Avensis wagon. What a nice car, and MUCH better looking than the Camrys and Corollas of today.
250h ~ Camry Hybrid
200h ~ Prius
And where is the clip of Siu driving?
