Hello everybody, I'm Ryan in Tulsa, OK.
I've been an avid biker since 1979 when I got my first bike, a Schwinn Sting-Ray (ketchup & mustard motif). Admittedly, I have not owned many bikes but I do get more than my money's worth out of them. My next bike was a Takara mountain bike, and I have yet to see one other example. I lived on that bike for almost two decades and still love it, although it lives in the garage because I can't find tires/rims for it. No other bike has felt or performed like it. I then got a Trek Antelope 830 for college and used that up until recently. My current bike is a single-speed 1997 Kona A'ha that I am converting into a cruiser. It's got a flip-flop hub, 18t freewheel and 16t fixed.
I'm a graphic designer (print) by day, and you can add sailing, hiking, writing, geocaching, and photography to the list. I enjoy fine ales, fine cheeses, balsamic vinegar, mustards, and peppers. I've recently downgraded my biking style from aggressive to cruisin'.
1 wife of 15 years, 2 boys (5 & 10), and a cat.
Nice to meet you guys.
