I'm new on here and need a bit of advice.
I've been riding a Specialsized Sirrus for 4 years, lots of touring and commuting.
I want a road bike for summer commuting, weekend day rides, possibly the occasional Sportive.

I've tried a Wilier Lavaredo which I liked a lot. But I've heard an awful lot about CAAD8's having great frames and I'd like to try one out.
The Willier is £999 and comes with a mixture of Campag componants.
The CAAD8 105 is also £999 but only available is white. (I've never liked white bikes.)
If I go CAAD8 I'm thinking Sora option (in Red) for £699 and maybe upgrade to Campag Veloce groupset. THe bike will be bought using the bike to work scheme.
Has anybody got any views on the quality of the Wilier frame?
Cheers :)
