Hi all I'm new here. Ive had 2 main bikes in 31 years. a racer when i was around 14 and then a mountain bike when i was around 24 which i am 31 now and i only payed £25 for that 2nd hand bike. 3 years ago i had a kidney transplant but the kidney is making it hard to pedal. As seen as I've not brought a bike in a very long time and not spent much i thought i would treat my self to a electric bike so it can give me some help going up hills. I was thinking of getting this one. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_754903_langId_-1_categoryId_211566

Ive seen it in my local store but want some more advice. I no you charge the electric bikes battery but how often have you got to buy a new battery?.

Is this bike mainly for concrete or is it good on grass, gravel etc.

I no it says it will go 15MPH on electric and my weight is 46kg so how fast will it really go. I no I'm loosing weight too lol.

so just a few questions be for i take the plunge and buy it. Thanks for any advice and any more advice would be grateful

Do you like your present bike. If so. I think a conversion kit is a better deal. I've seen similar bikes in the USA sell for 370 pounds. The lead acid battery will only last 100 charge cycles. In the EU EBikes are limited to 16.5 mph by law. www.ebikekit.com (http://www.ebikekit.com) exports to the EU. Checkout their site and reportback.

Yeah, buy a decent steel frame bike and buy a motor kit, you'll be much happier.
I would suggest against riding on very bumpy sufaces.. (for safety issues)
Most motors are not meant for off roading.
