Looks like the "more mature" guys/gals are winning the poll :)

Of course, we are talking about physical age, and not emotional outlook, aren't we?

The first time I've ever been number one in my life!!

Maybe I should close the poll while we are ahead???

Oops!!

Looks like the "young uns" have finally figured out there is a poll, and they are (were) losing.

It doesn't count if you don't vote.

We still have a chance. I think the oldsters will come around and vote tomorrow morning. At this time of night most have long ago padded up the stairs to their trundle beds and blown out their candles.:p

If that's the case, this whole poll does not bode well for anyone in 50+...

No one under 50?

DX-MAN

52, and about...20 minutes, according to the clock. B-Day's over, wah.

Now, on FB, there was a test to gauge emotional age... I'm about 16. Guess it's all the years of raising kids with lots of quality time... I'm taking MY emotional age, shaving it off and giving it to them.

They're in trouble.

Trying to write and publish a neutral, non-controversial poll in this group is a REAL challenge!! :)

Thanks for all the responses so far.

Hey, you 70+'rs, 75+'rs, 80+'rs and 85+'rs - wake up and smell the roses.

Can I vote again in another category? You left out "39." That's the Jack Benny category. I realize 39 is "under 50," but so is 49.

Vote early and vote often. Is there a prize for the demographic that wins? Maybe a coupon for an early bird special at the BF.Net Lounge?

Somehow, I fail to understand the problem, since no one knows who HiYoSilver is except HiYoSilver, and, by definition we are all over 50 (except a few).

I had to vote "Under 50". But ask me again in 5 months. Better yet....ask me during RAGBRAI. :)

My mother used to say "Every woman over 25 is still 25."

Where's the selection for 39?

Well, I used to teach math, and, as I recall from long ago, 39 is "under 50" unless the "new math" has changed things.

Oh, and one more thing, this emoticon here :D should have bugs in the teeth, because if you're flashing a grin like that on a bike, that's what you're gonna get.

Carry on.

But if it was a hard problem then the answer is "42".

People who don't understand 42 didn't ask the right question.

We have one guy 79 who hasn't responded, and a couple more in their 70's I know about. Perhaps they will respond?

There's an Under 50 category and an 85+. So what could "other" possibly be?

I wish that I had noticed that before I voted.

There is ALWAYS someone who doesn't think any of the categories fits them. From hard experience, I always include an "other." Otherwise I get some sort of smart-alecky remark.

Hey, we can come up with smart-alecky remarks no matter how well planned out it is. Can I change my vote? I want to switch parties.

If he's a good dad he'll fill it up first and leave a $20 bill in the glove box.

That's funny; I couldn't wait to start posting in the 50+ forum...but I didn't dare before I actually turned 50! It was like a rite of passage, like reaching voting age, or being able to go into bars legally.

For those of us in the upper age brackets, is the next rite of passage entering that nursing home?
