Hi,
Can any person please tell me if these are ok wheels to buy, meaning will they be harder to buckle than normal silver spoked wheels? I need a tougher wheel as i pound on mine and buckle them, I am on a low budget so please excuse me if you think they are rubbish.
Thanks guys for helping me the newby!

umm, if your looking for a non disc rim you can find many on ebay. Ive seen plenty of wheelsets for under 75 there of reasonable quality, i mean you get what you pay for but they do the job.

THANKS FOR LOOKING! O h and one more thing how many spokes do normal wheels have? These have what, 24?
Normal non racing wheels normally have 32 or 36 spokes.

If your riding habits exhert much stress on your wheels i would not go for them. They have too low of a spoke count to be reliable if you ask me

How much are you looking to spend? Youre not going to find a very strong wheelset for under $150.

i'd suggest getting this wheelset from that merlin site stapfam gave the link for:
custom built wheels - pairs
rims: ex721
hubs: deore
spokes: dt stainless plain guage
price: £78.00
these should be better suited to taking some abuse than those wheels you posted from ebay.
