Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Best deep rim wheelset (light/strong/price) ???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Thoughts? Opinions?
I bought a cheapo wheelset and just built up my beauty. Im having second thoughts as to the crappo rims/hubs - my bike deserves better.
Anyone know of any deals or thoughts on a good value wheelset (model/brand) - trendy but high quality?
Thanks!

How deep?
Seriously though, wheels/rims questions come up everyday...should check the first 2 pages before you make a thread.
How deep?

What is it that you don't like about your current setup? The hubs don't spin freely? The rims can not be trued properly? You just want something with more "bling"?

trendy
This just in, deep rims are so 2008.
Box section has been dominating the scene since 2009 like 90's fuzzed up garage bands dominating the hipsterdom.

mastered two bands this week that sounded like screaming trees doing nirvana covers while high on hash.
TWO SEPARATE BANDS IN ONE WEEK WITH THE SAME LAME SOUND?

Maybe it's because I live in a tree, but I still don't get the Charlie Sheen references...
In other news, the new The Pains of Being Pure at Heart album is being streamed on their site (http://www.thepainsofbeingpureatheart.com/).

Huh?
uneven finish, like the peel of an orange. happens when the paint is too dry -> thinner evaporates too fast

This ^ for spending $1400 on a wheelset when cxp33's will get the job done for a fraction of the price. Bike riding isn't about streetcred, but then again, I could be wrong. Have fun and save money doin' it! If you're not riding competitively you have no need for that kinda stuff

Dude you're so wrong. Bikes are all about street cred. None of us even ride our bikes anyways.
