I live in Knoxville, but have no way down there as I have no car (nor do I plan on owning one anytime soon). On top of that, none of my friends bike. Maybe I'll go check out the trails next spring/summer.

I dont know anyone going either.. hopefully I will run into a fellow Alabamian somewhere.. and wont' get shot at for my Auburn apparel (yes we beat the Vols bwahahah!!!).

I'll be there. I live in Chattanooga. I should be leading one of the rides at the Epic.
Knoxville to the trail is probably 1 to 1.5 hours.
Auburn apparel is welcome as far as I am concerened, War Eagle!

As of 2 weeks ago 80 people were registered. 100 is the limite and I know of about 4-5 people I had register. Also to my understanding this will be the first Epic to reach the 100 person cap!

Ah sweet! I heard from the people at IMBA we were staying in a bunkhouse? So no need to bring a tent?

by car, that is... by bike? it's 100 miles ;) Not about to ride there from here. I have to work anyway even if I COULD get a ride down there.
