I asked in the commuter forum. But I wonder about the local missouri area? I'm going to try pulling the front today and the rear in a month if weather permits. How about the rest of the year round commuters? Your methods?

I'd yank the rear before the front personally.

I pulled the front as it is a skewer. Then went on a club ride. The next day I put the front back on for the predicted snow and the frozen melt for the next few mornings. I went back to the summer road tire today.
