Does such a thing exist? I'm looking at getting rid of my truck, but my concern is when I need to transport my bike(s) someplace.

This was the first thing that popped up on Google using "scooter mounted bike rack". http://whoridesavespa.com/2007/12/18/is-it-possible-to-mount-a-bicycle-on-a-vespa/

If you only need to transport your bike(s) once in a while,
maybe you could borrow or rent a car or use public transportation
if it's available.

If you have to carry a bike on your scooter a lot, maybe you can get
a folding bike. That would be easier to lug on a scooter.

Something like this? I've seen several different exmples. A few were adapters made to accept a typical car-top rail type bike carrier.

I used to hang out on the Stellaspeed forums a lot - and those two are the only examples I know of. If I was goign to do it I'd go with the side mount - seems more secure, and can be used to carry other things as well.

The side rack looks like the way to go for a scooter. It won't mess up the weight balance as much as a rear mounted on would. I've used the rear method on a couple of motorcycles and they worked fine but a scooter is so much lighter I would be worried about lightening the front end up too much.

We'll have to start a thread "My bike is worth more than my scooter".
