Anyone else out there counting down the hours until World of Warcraft (wow henceforth) comes out? Its going to me an online rpg for the pc. It looks totaly awesome its going to suck some serious hours out of my life this winter. I dont game much in the spring and summer (because i m racing my bike!) but in the winter here in iowa there isnt much else to do. I ll slip the game in between going to the Y and riding the trainer here at home. So is there anyone else out there that cannot wait? I hope i m not the only one

nah, I'm waiting for Everquest2 myself, I hav eteh premium DVD version preordered already.....hopefully if the game is good enough my guildmates might be willing to branch over to that game...Really EQ-1 has pretty much bummed me out since it's so linear in terms of progression. There's nothing to do in the mid-to low end game, so it's just a XP grind and advancement grind through planar progrssion, and gates and omens flags....I guess that's why I havent played for so long.

.....if you or any other boardmembers know of a guy who calls himself the "shadow-ranger" on cazic-thule server (if you play EQ that is), send me a tell sometime.

I recently purchased the EQ1 Platnauim edition to get me through the next month more or less, till Wow comes out. I ve played for like 4 days and hate it. The navigation is horrible it took me an hour to get out of my own home city! I m not new to these games played LinageII for the first 5 months until bots took the game TOTALY over on my server. They had the economy so F'd up it wasnt even funny. I also played AC2 for like a year till i got burnt out. I figured EQ would be cool but for whatever reason i just cant get into it. Makes waiting for Wow that much harder. I m totaly into EQ from the character and gameplay stand point i just hate actualy playing the game, oh well i guess. I would be pretty cool to get a bunch of people off the forums here into a game of Wow or EQ. Just bring that whole community feel that much tighter i guess. I dont have Wow preordered because I have TWO wall marts in my area along with a Target, and a Game Stop. I know i ll be able to get it when it comes out. Just sucks i have to keep waiting. Oh well at least its on the right side of this year right?! later for now
