I've had the good of trikes and spring melt all week. I've crunched, popped and slid over icy roads slick with melt water and never had a moment's worry I'd fall. :thumb: Just took care I didn't find any hard, frozen rutted ice to whack my derailleur on.

Yesterday, I found one bad. Coming upon what looked like a lumpy slab of frozen ice, I pushed on and discovered it was broken ice with deep water beneath. I ended up with wet rump. :twitchy: Thankfully I was less than a mile from home so didn't suffer from my icy plunge too much.

It was a good ride otherwise. 15 miles.
