You should hook up with San Fernando Valley Bicycle Club (SFVBC). They always have a good amount of people showing up with different routes to choose from.

+1 to SFVBC. I am a religious guy, so I rarely ride on Sundays, but as I'm trying to get back into the swing of things as well, you're welcome to join me on a Saturday ride some time if you want. I live in North Hills.
