reminds me of an exhibit at the Hands on Museum in A2 Michigan haha I used to love that place and the exhibit. It was all about strobe effects and whatnot.

But the editing takes hours to do.

Also, You'd have to have a very controlled environmental, IE lighting. Well simple enough if you can lock exposure but just saying.

I dont think I'd film it. It would just be fun to take a wheel and make something like it were a flip book animation, for the hell of it

yeah, When i attendeted the art center in pasadena i did alot of flip book stuff.

Flip booking is fun, I did one where jello melted through a fork.

TOOK FOREVER. :|

Im 15, I work with film. My brother is a photographer.

I was accepted when i was 13. (: My teacher has a heavy german everything he says that has a w sound funny.

Its not stop-motion, the animation is purely a result of the the different shapes on the wheel being captured by the camera as it spins.

The technical name for this is a zoetrope; that's where it got its name.

Back in my undergrad days; a classmate did one of these for our studio art final. Aside from the fact that he chopped up a olmo in the process of creating the frame for the zoetrope; it was amazing in person.

I Have nigthclasses. The center is around 6 miles from my house, And main campus is up a mountain, I can't reach it on the fix gear.
