It is already starting to get very hot down south. I like foot retention. I also like flip flops. Can these two be brought together to make the summer heat more tolerable?

i don't wear flip flops outside of my house. I'd also be scared to match those with pedals, seeing how if something stupid happens your feet will get messed up.

I also thought about the possibilities of foot mangling. I was really only thinking about the commute, which is short and I change shoes at either end anyway.

Barefoot with flipflops in my bag, and kitchen shoes at work was another option I thought of. I would just need to make sure the trackstand skills are perfect, as putting your bare feet down on parts of my route could end with tourist vomit between your toes.
