Does anybody know what brand it might be? I think there's a chance it might not be a Leader or a Felt... but I'm not so sure.

That is a massive head tube. What's up with that? It reminds me of the 1.5" head tubes on Canondale mountain bikes back in the day.

It's for the integrated zero stack headset that leader uses throughout its entire "aero" aluminum track frames. There are forks designed to be flush for these kinds of frames; but the 2 listed above arent.

It looks like a perfectly normal Leader head tube to me.

I have no idea what the standover height is but it's probably on Leader's site somewhere and I would say it's pretty likely that a 58 is too big for you.

Just found a few threads and it said that the 721TR has almost the same geometry as the 725TR. So 58cm would be fit for 5'11" - 6'1" and 55cm would be fit for 5'9" - 5'11". Will that extra 3cm between the 55cm and the 58cm be a huge difference to riding though? I might be 5'10-1/2" or a few cm taller but with shoes, I think it might be fine. Would you guys think so?

It's just I'm getting a deal for that bike that I started the post off with for $475 so it's quite a deal since the guy who I'm buying it from also knows a friend who rides as well.

I was planning to get an entirely new Felt TK3 that has not yet touched pavement yet for $500, but this deal for the Leader 721TR for $475 seems more worthwhile.

I don't think it is, but it's your choice.

Leaders are known to be long and low, meaning super long top tube and mega short seat tube and head tube. If you've got long torso and arms with shorter legs, then this frame might fit you. The 58cm is going to have a 58.5cm top tube, which is quite long. Take your body and the (un)natural geometry of Leader frames.

The Felt TK3 is a 56cm.

If you think you like the Leader 721 more, go for it, just pay attention to the sizing of the bike and if you feel the bike is too big, don't get it.

A 56cm TK3 sounds like it might suit you better than a 58cm Leader but I could be wrong. Plus, TK3 MSRP is about $900 and you're getting it for about half off, seem like a good deal.

56cm Felt TK3

The wrong size bike is not a better deal. Throw a leg over both and get the one that fits you the best, even if it is $25 more.

If you're 5'10", that 58cm Leader is going to be too big for you and the top tube will be much too long. I'm 5'11" and typically ride 58cm frames but my Leader 725 is a 55 due to how long it is.

Bought it! and guess what, after fitting it when I came to check it out, it's a perfect height. Headtube to crotch is about an inch in between or so. I'm extremely satisfied to actually go buy the Felt rather than the Leader :)

I think the only red I'll be able to remove is the stickers on the rims :( Other than that, everything else is laminated onto the parts.
