I found a Specialized Transition frameset online at a bike shop in Brooklyn called R&A Cycles. Because of certain restrictions with Specialized they are not permitted to ship it to me in Virginia unless myself or friend personally stops by the shop.

Has anyone else run into this situation and found a way around the restriction?

Would someone who lives in the area of 105 5th Avenue be willing to stop by R&A for me?

There are numerous shops around the country that will release items to freight companies. See if R&A will prepare the frame for your good friend Benny (who happens to work for XYZ Freight) to pick up.

Anyway, thanks for your generous offer, I will contact R&A tomorrow and see what the process is. If it isn't simple and easy for you then I won't do it.

After discussing with R&A today, they checked their warehouse and the frame is not the one I need afterall.
