Mountain Biking - Moab

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I just purchased a Moab 2 Aluminum, Used. I paid about 350 for it, it looks brand new. I am about 5'9" and 155 pounds, this bike is a 15" bike. It looks a bit smaller than the other moutain bikes I have seen, I am an old BMXer so the size of this bike seems about right to me; it fits me. What is the advantage of the larger bikes, 17" 21" etc...? Is there a general rule for what size of bike a person should ride?
Welcome to the Forums!
There is no particular advantage to larger frames. The most important thing to remember is that the bike FITS you, and you feel comfortable on it.
If your 15" frame fits, that's all that's important. There is no difference in parts; everything is interchangeable.
