I am visiting from San Diego and am planing on riding mount lemmon on Saturday morning. I think I only have time to ride about half way up. Any one ridding it too? I heard if you start at La Buzz you are likely to run into a group going up as well?

I'm thinking of going in the next month or so. Training on a smaller mountain with repeats until then. Heard the ride is awesome! Have fun!

I may be out there in June from NJ. How early do you need to get out during the summer to beat most of the crazy heat?

If you are doing the mountain you don't have to worry because it's a 30-40 degree change by the time you get to the top. Starting at 8-9am will get you 80s-90s but comfortable and it will be perfect when you get to the top. Sucks coming down though, because it's like a slow heat wave that just keeps getting worse.
