I'm sure everybody is sick of hearing about my fixed gear bike, but it really is fun. Anyway, I took it on the commute for the first time today. It was fun. Quite a different feel from the hybrid. I even made it up the hills that I thought were going to be a problem.
I looked pretty fred-ish. The bike is mostly an old Raliegh Capri, so it didn't get any style points (although it does look much better without the stickers). And I had my clothes bungeed to the seat post in a plastic bag. And of course my usual uniform of running shorts, a t-shirt, and skate shoes. Oh well, some day here I'll become a real cyclist.
